ANNA COX
FASHION STUDENT AND ENTHUSIAST
"We realized that although what we wore each day was chosen less to present an image to others, to tell them what we wanted to say about who we are, we still had a narrative to tell ourselves"
-Alexandra Shulman
Former Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue
About Me
Hi there! I'm Anna.
I am currently a student at the University of Georgia, working towards by B.A. in Fashion Merchandising, along with a minor in General Business. The emphasis I have taken within the Fashion Merchandising program is Brand Management.
My love for fashion and expression developed through small moments, as I began to learn the influence fashion could have on my confidence. Throughout my teenage years, I only looked at shopping as a hobby, not a career. That was until my senior year of high school where I took a job at an up-and-coming boutique in my hometown. I instantly fell in love with the world of retail and merchandising.
I am very passionate about shopping and helping others love their wardrobe as much as I love mine. You can find me sipping on a lavender latte, organizing my closet, or rewatching the Gossip Girl series. I am constantly trying to find the joy in small moments and striving to be present where my feet are.
“I am a firm believer that people are starting to love their clothes so much that they really don’t care [about the traditional rules of fashion],” Cox said. “They’re like ‘Goodbye to the rules, we want to wear what feels good on our body and we want to wear what makes us feel like us.’”
